I was sat in my sisters front room last night and heard some banging and crashing. Me and my mate leggid it outside to find a Fiesta embedded in the rear right corner of my s2 cab. Somehow he managed to scrape the front wing and the put big dents in the rear wing from the back of the sill to where it joins on under the tail light. I think the wing is totaled.
I called the cops and they gave him six points on the spot for no insurance. Th guy who's Fiesta he was driving was insured so the copper tells me I can claim off him.
Anyhow I think I need to get hold of a rear wing and the strip that goes under the number plate.
Any ideas on where I can get a wing and if a hardtop wing will fit with the top chopped off?
Thanks.
Ben..

That is terrible  Must have been going some to hit both ends. Someone has been breaking a cab on E Bay, certainly seen a boot lid & some other stuff.

It gets worse!
I just tried to drive it home and it looks like he clipped the front left wheel and ripped the track rod out of the rack so the wheels are pissed now.
I'm not a happy bunny.

Hiya,

Really sorry to hear about your car getting smashed into. There are some absolute f*@king A*@eholes out there. What a complete waste of skin cells and blood.

I just don't understand how people think it is ok to drive without insurance. In France, driving without insurance is 12 months in the slammer no questions asked. I can only hope this attitude will be adopted over in the UK in the near future.

Hope you get you're car sorted and back up and running soon.

Ben :bounce:

Its ironic really, I haven't driven it for the passed week because my brother in law was borrowing it to get to work.
You don't realize how attached you are until someone violates your porsche. I do appreciate the sympathy, its allmost worse than if i had crashed it myself.

Anyone know if the rear wing off a coupe will fit with the top chopped off? Looking at the dents the one on it is fubar.

If you're claiming off their insurance you don't want any half measures, why go for the chopped off option?

Bad luck that!

I have to agree, if you are claiming off his insurance get it all done properly, it's not worth just making do.

Make sure that the insurance include a full geometry check & reset if this is the case.

Arrrg what a shitter  and with the Easter break I imagine it will be a few days before you can get it looked at properly so I now you'll be really frustrated. If it's a new front and rear wing (how's the door?) then they will be over £1000 in parts alone so be careful as the costs can easily rack up to the point that insurance will simply write it off.

Do you have an agreed value policy, it should make it so much easier to argue your case if you have.
