In all the Cars I had I've Never Had to top up the engine Coolant...
But I've Noticed today the Coolant level has Dropped in S..The Car runs fine..Checked Oil, Fine..So, No Head gasket problem..(I think?)..I have Had a few Traffic Jam Encounters over the last few weeks.....Is it OK to Mix Coolants with Existing? or do I need to Flush it through?

OK, is the oil level OK? Check it's nice & clean & not milky. Also check that their are no water drips on the undertray. When was the cambelt & water pump last done?

As for topping use the same colour coolant as in there now. If it's green then its one of the standard such as standard Halfords anti freeze, if it's luminescent orange then you'll need the long life one.

The oil filler is clean...dipstick Clean.....can't tell what colour the coolant is because the plastic tank has badly discoloured yellowish....the engine dosent overheat...I bought the car as a second car But have used it Constantly...The belts and tensioners were done 6 weeks ago....the waterpump and rollers were in great condition so didn't require changing..........I'm getting paranoid!

It's possible you have a pinhole leak in one of the rubber coolant pipes or maybe even the metal pipe that runs from the front to back of the engine by the exhaust manifold. You may not spot them when the engine is cold or not running but once hot and under pressure it could escape as steam. You'll need to pressurise a cold system to look for leaks.

Slightly off topic here but is it possible to assess the condition of the water pump whilst fitted? I'm about to swap engines (managed to get a spare from a write-off) and one of the things on my list to do was to replace the pump. If I can assess its condition on engine, it might save me some work...

I never trust used water pumps, the seal having been wet then dried out invariably fails.

Yep your spark plugs will tell you if coolant is leaking into cylinders. Look for a black but shiney residue on the shell, next to threads. If it has a black wet look its from your coolant. Coolant dosent burn well (dont ask me how I kno  ) so plugs will foul quickly  Hope it is a leak, much easier to fix.
