no advisories, the testercouldn't believe how good the underneath was, had a bit of a poke around whilst it was on the ramps and does look pretty clean, all the rubberoid protection looks complete and almost undamaged

Well done Lindsay. It's worth getting a tin of sealant from Halfords & touching up the cracked & damaged areas.

I know the feeling. I'm restless all day until I know it's passed.

Mine just failed
Drivers side sill near the back wheel rusted.
rusty brake pipe across back.
side repeater not clear enough?
Washer jests not squirting well.
front anti roll bar mount loose.
Lower ball joint play.

He's welded a patch on and will replace the brake pipe and says he's ordered the ball joint but I'm confused about the ball joint because they're part of the lower wishbone. I know you can get DIY kits to replace them but I doubt it's this that he's ordered. I think he may be talking about the castor mount..

anyhow £150 all in is a bargain in for any car..

looking forward to getting her back in time for the club meet..
