I am taking my the dashboard out to replace all the bulbs with LEDs and do the reflector upgrade.

Whilst I am in there I thought I would fix the steering lock and my ignition barrel. The ignition barrel doesn't click in 1 then 2, it just sort of slides through them. So need to decide if it's the lock or the switch.

Anyway, the two steering lock bolts that have to be drilled and reverse threaded to remove. Are they the same size? The Pet diagram looks unclear. They look different lengths!

I am thinking not to buy the Porche replacements in any event, but instead putting hex head bolts in, for easy removal next time (we know there will be a next time).

Does anyone know what bolt sizes would fit and are they the same?

Thank you. Rachel
