Hi folks.

I've got an urge that's been growing stronger for years and isn't going away, so figure I'll need to do something to satisfy it this year, finally.

I neeeeeeed a 944 in my life. Targeting the S2 just now.

It'll live outside and be used as 2nd car for when it's just me going somewhere without the wife/kid, but likely won't do more than 1-2k miles a year. Appreciate they need constant maintenance and that's fine, but ideally want something that's as good as it can be just now and not a project. Obviously not looking for a concours one though, it'll get used!

So currently on the hunt for a really nice S2 that will fit the bill. The Golf GTi I have just now is great (on paper) but doesn't give me any horn unfortunately.

If you know of a good one that's out there waiting for a new owner.... or you're planning to sell yours soon.... let me know!

Cheers!!!

What about this one? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... on=at_cars

I know nothing about the car or the seller. I just saw it advertised, so thought I'd send you the link

That does look like one with real potential. On paper at least, it's pretty much what I'm after.

Have asked about it on PCGB too since it seems to have been a member car.

Needs investigating the history, very, very carefully! Especially belts (due @ 4 year intervals), cam chain (not on the original Porsche schedule and ££££££££££s) if it stretches and clutch. MOT history looks OK.
