 Post subject: Fuel Sender Repair/Clean up

Fuel Sender was reading incorrectly.

I took out the sender unit, a cylindrical contraption, where I could not see level wire, like on a regular unit with floating arm.

As Waylander correctly suggested;
On the sender you can remove the white cap off the bottom then you will see the float and wire inside.

I could not understand what was going on to clean. So, by taking off the cylindrical tube, I could get to the wire & centre pipe where the actually float moves up & down as shown in the picture(sorry can't manage to compress picture to send one here-will try again later)

This is where I could actually clean with a cotton pad & some IPA cleaner the centre pipe, as well as the wires. They were filthy.

Now filled up empty tank firstly, with 25/6 litres, then another 30 litres from a completely empty tank. So far, looks like accurate readings.
