Hi, I'm looking to sell my Panther metallic black Porsche 944S2 with grey interior, which has recently had the steering rack reconditioned so the car steers and drives beautifully.
This was a car that I wanted to bring up to excellent condition from just good/very good.
The outstanding issues are:
1) There is a small dent in the rear where it reads Porsche just underneath the number plate;
2) The driver's seat has some wear on the side where you get in and out
3) The engine has been replaced because the original one had issues with the 4th cylinder not firing properly - I need to register the engine with the DVLA I think!!
4) Its currently SORN'd
5) I'm thinking of getting the original fabric roof replaced as the original has a split in the middle of 3-4 inches (about 10cm) which is patched at present.
The above all sounds like its in an 'OK' condition but actually once its polished up its really nice and the replacement engine pulls much better than my original one.
QUESTION So, my question is how do I go about selling it and for what price - I will point out all the KNOWN issues with the car to the prospective buyer.
Thanks!
Best regards
Paul
