Hi team...so took the old girl out for a 20 min spin today before I set about belt change next week. Drove it medium hard after 15 mins when she was nice and warm but as I approached home, the last mile it was really juddery/scittish....I thought it was a flat and so gently cruised the last 400m. Got out, no flat tyre, but the drivers front tele dial rims were way too hot to even touch. The hand brake was not on.

Is this a symptom of a seized calliper? Pretty sure it is... I seem to remember this happened around October last year as well. Haven't really driven her much over the last 9 months or so..

I have had front wheel off...and really hard to move, the passenger side freely spins.....so exciting..I have a new project!
I have never done brakes on my car before but am keen to learn.....is it just a question of refurbing them? is there a how to anywhere with good pictures? I have the Haynes manual but it is so dreary.......Clarkes suggest bleeding the wheel but not how to refurb .....

Many thanks for help so far.....

Thanks in advance.

Michael
