Did the £7 ebay washer pump fit and work OK?

As a matter of fact, it was a perfect match to what was on the car, fitted & worked. Tried it out a few times & worked fine. Was going to give it a little time but forgot to try it out again when I went for a run.

To fit, we passed it down from the headlamp side, then from under car to wiggle it in place. We did have the engine under tray off the car.

Thanks. Strangely my pump started working again, just as I was preparing to wrestle it out. Good to know there's a cheap pump available though.

When I bought the car, some twat had fitted a RED push to make switch in the Gauge cluster/air vents surround trim & wired directly to the washer pump  I'm assuming someone thought the wiper stalk was at fault. Needless to say, I replaced the trim & unnecessary wiring & got the pump working through wiper stalk control. Worked on & off for a while! So most prob pump was playing. Till recently, it just died.

Took the car out yesterday evening & tried it again & all fine :bounce:

For £7 I would buy one and stick it in the spares box,

It's a fair weather car, so I rarely use the wipers, screen washers, or the head lights. Pre MOT checks is when I usually find out if somethings not working. Just got 12 months so it's all good now.

Too easy to get caught in a random shower even on a sunny day
