Hi guys, my key has stopped turning in my boot lock, also the button in the footwell just keeps cycling the release mechinism, meaning you have to lift the hatch as you’re pushing the button, annoying when you’re on your own. I assume these problems are linked, can anyone help with this please, thanks, Brad.

The key is not tripping the micro switch on the lock

And if the motor is working and unlocking the boot but the hatch does not pop up, that’s probably a combination of the locks not aligned correctly the boot seal worn or if new the hatch pins to tight

The centralising rubber in the bottom of the lock fallen to bits

They can be a quite a faff to get right and working
