Somehow, after a wash, I'm finding water in the rear boot wells; under battery tray & driver's side. Cannot really see any traces of water entry

So the mystery begins; any suggestions :?:

Check sunroof drains, should go all the way to behind the back wheels with a T from the fuel filler. The hatch latches has drains check they are A. clean and B. Attached.
Check rear tailgate seal is good.

drivers side is quite possibly the drain in the petrol flap, the rubber dissolves over the years.

All drains in good order as all have been checked with pressurized air, & just checked drain that passes through battery well with a pipe feeding water from sunroof when I found water in the well. Also poured water down latch drains & all ok.

Fuel filler T piece cleaned as well as all drains fitted in place after respray as I stripped the car & put it back the together.

How do I check tailgate seal is good? That's the only thing I'm not so sure on but did not see any tell tale signs of water; is there anywhere I should look/check?

What about the seals around the latches that are part of the moulds of the pins?

The two tailgate spoiler drains are also good & not blocked.

New seals bought from Porsche in 10mt roll; sticky stuff.

Ok so, what I used to do was colour the water with food dye and tip it on with a watering can see if I can follow it

I can try that. So, I put the dye in a bucket of water? Will the dye do anything to the car's paint?

My next steps that I have in mind is to take out boot carpet, get inside with a lamp & my wife hose water around one section at a time.

Just need to colour the water, you don’t want it staining anything

Do like they say on the packet, test in an area that does not show

I have bright green screen wash but that does not stain the car for example

Yes, I saw that episode. Don't know where to get one of those here but might be the last resort.
