After over 10 years seems like I can't post on there anymore. Keep getting a privilege message and being logged out, wonder if I've upset a sensitive soul on there :? .

Always found it a bit tumbleweed on there TBH. Rennlist or one of the USA forums have always been better. And that was BC (Before Cayenne, So Boxster & before that 944) let alone after.

It's always been a quite clicky. And some members don't like being contradicted when they get carried away. Pistonheads is a bit precious since the septics took over. I got a warning from a mod when I kept calling the new Alpine a Renault.

The one that included crying, broken heart, and more than just a car?

Ah but you do have to play along a bit, sometimes it’s necessary to massage an ego or two

More for my amusement than their pleasure

I got a telling off for warning that a certain Porsche breakers was selling 16 year old tyres as new, that’s against the law

I don't recall anything that deserved a ban, maybe I missed something.
I had an early 944 burn down in the mid 2000's, was inconvenient as I had to fly back from Spain but I got over it. Especially as the insurance payed for a better car.

I didn't get a telling off. I recall the couple of times I went to Rutland Water, with a couple of exceptions the clique was very strong there.
