So,
Not many miles on my replacement clutch and getting a severe shudder through the back of the car, gearstick and transmission.
Had a new sachs spring centre clutch installed and after putting not many miles on it is now shuddering really badly only on changing down 3rd to 2nd.
Even rev matching is not helping and also doing it around town speeds.

Before I start chucking ££'s at it, anyone else had this and fixed it?
So far the culprits include:
worn splines on torque tube or badly installed clutch?

Any help would be appreciated as this is driving me nuts!

worn/loose mounts would be a good, cheap place to start.

new engine mounts = tick

Problem solved = no :(

What's next ? take the clutch out and take a look? My mechanic guy reckons it could be that the clutch was not balanced correctly when installed? If so its a big expenses to take it out and re-do ? Really annoying as the clutch is fairly new and was installed by a "specialist"...
