Today I thought I would give the 944 a wash, it was covered in winter grime and mud and well, we aren't going anywhere any time soon so out came the snow foam.

This is my second 944, one was an "82, this one an "89. Both have done it when ever I clean it.

Where on earth does all this black gunk come from in the rear spoiler? More and more seems to appear every time I run a hose over the car. Where is it coming from? Am I the only sufferer of this affliction or is it a common problem on these cars with the rubber rear spoiler? If so where is it hiding and how can I get it out?

Its driving me insane!

In mine it's the drain slots in the spoiler itself they easily get blocked with dead leaves.
