Today, I stripped the front of the car to fix two problems;. Headlamp hight adjustment (which is subject to another Sunday, as previous owner has just cut the wires).

The Headlamp washer motor (the higher motor) is working. BUT the previous owner, cut the pipe and put a bolt in the end and put a jubilee clip round it (lovely).

I need to order the pipe from the motor to the pipework at the front of the car and a new nozzle which I broke pulling it off the bumper.

Question: There are two pressure valves at each nozzle. What do they do? Can they go wrong?
I can't blow through them. I rather think they packed up and previous owner cut whole system out.

Thank you.

You have two very good OPC's with a great relationship with the Kent members of TIPEC speak to the service manager of one or the other OPC . You also have a great membership of our club down there in Kent, why don't you ask your local guys, they will be able to help you, or are you not a member?

They are non return valves to keep fluid in the pipework, probably seized, OPC should have them and replacement nozzles.

I will have a look in PET2 in the morning for you

And with a bit of fiddling the motors for your headlamps can be rebuilt using Audi 80 ones
