No rebuilt 4 for other 968 owners New ones are £700 |

Yes, quite expensive. Are the 968 starters different to 944 S2? I had mine completely rebuilt by a very competent electrician I know including brush carrier etc for €70- a steal! |

The 944 starter is the same as a mountain of other cars, it uses a pre-engaged Bendix which is used widely, the 968 starter for manual cars is unique The 968 tiptronic cars use the 944 starter |
