Hi All

I am having a right old wrestle trying to rehang my alternator.
I have managed to align the two lugs with the hanger ish by wiggling progressively thicker
Punches.
I just can’t seem to get the final alignment to get the bolt secured.
Any tips I could try?

Cheers

Mark

There is no real technique to it other than applying a bit of forward pressure on the large bolt (assume this is what you mean), whilst wiggling it till it pops in (oh, er missus!!).

I've done plenty alternators on 44's and that has always worked for me.
