 Post subject: Fiberglass front Wings 944s2 Discuss?

I was just wondering on opinions for Fiberglass wings - My wing bottoms are rotten and have a choice of a repair panel, Fiberglass wing bottoms or complete fiberglass wings. Practically the fiberglass seems a good option as they wont rust however im sure there are some opinions out there which will help me decide either way.

Will suck up time and money trying to make them fit and look like metal. After all the effort and hrs invested, they will still fit and look like fibreglass.

If you search for an old member called poprock he fitted grp wings to his turbo a few years back. They looked fine, at least in the pics, but were a right royal pita to fit I gather,.

When WUF got fibreglass front wings I spoke to the bodyshop guy that fitted them. I asked given the choice would he have welded new metal into the original wings, he said definitely.

I believe so. Not much change out a grand for turbo/S2 one last time I checked.
