Hi all
Does anybody know if the front suspension top mounts from a 968 are the same for a 944 S2 ? I need to replace mine on my S2 and a used pair has come up from a 968.
Also where would be a good place to get some new from ?
many thanks

I believe that the 968 units can be used on an S2. NLA from Porsche so used is your only option as no-one makes a pattern part either.

That is true as the S2 and the 968 have top mounts with a 4 degree angle set in them

They are NLA from Porsche and when they were available they were £508 each!

The dealer restoration competition emptied the parts bins for us mere mortals

Thanks for the replies
So it looks like a good condition used part is the answer then unless anyone has any other options ?
I have seen adjustable top mounts but would i need to think about replacing the struts as well ?

Alan

Mine are original at 160k they do tend to last a long time, and if your a engineer the bearings can be replaced

The adjustable ones should fit the standard struts

Yip, echo what Martin says, my original ones going strong at 157k miles and adjustable ones will not necessitate a strut change.
