Hi All I've noticed both my rear lights are letting a fair bit of water into the back of the car. They are not sealed with anything just plastic on metal/ bolted to the car. whats the best way to combat this? seal them to the car? is there some kind of rubber seal available to buy? Thanks |

Thanks for the link but isn't that stuff for sealing the light cluster? My light clusters are not filling up with water, water is coming into the boot of the car through the holes where the light clusters are bolted to the car. this is the leak im trying to prevent on both sides and wondering how people have got around this common issue. Regards |

That sealant is ideal for the rear light/body seal readily available here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4M-Butyl-Rub ... rk:27:pf:0 |

while you are at it I would suggest you check the number plate lights they sit on a sponge type gasket that gets wet and rusts the panel(out of sight out of mind) |
