I’ve always been sceptical of the aero blade style wipers that you see advertised on eBay etc, but because they were dirt cheap at Auto Bulbs Direct, I ordered some at the same time as stocking up on super bright bulbs for my headlights.

Turns out they’re brilliant things. Okay, I’ll admit that they look a little ugly but they work a little better than standard blades, they fit perfectly well, and what amazed me is that they’re practically silent in operation. I’ve got used to every 944 I’ve owned being really noisy with the wipers running … squeak, screech, etc. Not any more. These things are really quiet.

How you managed without them. Anything above 65 the standard blades lift off the screen so you can't see where your going! :)

Got one on the drivers side of the 944, bought new ones for the Jag & they didn't bl00dy fit  They work very well & don't lift at highish speeds like the standard ones do.

I use the Bosch standard type blades with spoilers on them and I've never had any problems with them lifting or squeaking. My Bora had Aero blades as standard and I can't say that they were really any better, other then cosmetically, than a decent Bosch blade. Definitely didn't last as long.

Well, three 944s in a row and all of them with new Bosch wipers … they all made a lot of noise. These cheap aero blades are quiet as the grave. Lovely. Only downside being, as I say, that they look ugly.

I'm with ExAudiSi - Bosch blades (non-spoiler model, and swap the spoilers from the last set!) and they work a treat. Mine has a couple of sets of wiper blades a year as I HATE noisy wipers.

Bosch ones are about £4 each from ECP, and silent, and do a good job of shifting water/crud. And don't seem to lift at speed either (see comment above about swapping spoilers.)
