I would say they're anodized alloy.

They are quite expensive....as usual...

I found them here in Malta for €80 for a full set, but they have the brand letters painted on the front

just place in your mind that genuine ones are 11 euros each, and be very careful buying cheap ones, they might not have the correct radius cut seats.

Got fed up with the rapid deterioration and cost. I now use a set of steel ones from Jasmin and dipped them in a solution which blacks them and stops rusting. It only takes some gorilla with an air gun to ruin the originals. https://www.frost.co.uk/extra-blue-blac ... gKFKPD_BwE

That actually sounds like a good idea!

I think the anodized alloy nuts even get marked with a good twist of a socket, even by hand :(

The only real benefit I think is they are very light; if that is any real advantage.

I only bought new ones to compliment having the D90s Powder Coated. As my original wheel nuts have gone well past their prime with use over time.

Holy thread resurrection :bounce:

In the market for a replacement set of wheel nuts and not wanting to pay £175 for a genuine set of 20 from Porsche.

I've found the following on the bay of gems -

Image

£59.99 from Alloy Wheel Solutions - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-of-20-x- ... 2273216782

Image

EDIT: Just noticed are these ones no good as they are 60 degree taper and not the correct radius cut?

£29.99 from Alloy Wheel Solutions (with 4 locking nuts) - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-of-20-x- ... 2276828989

Just wondering if anyone has ordered the cheaper style nuts that have the donut ring on the end?

Considered getting normal steel lug nuts as well -

EDIT: These are also 60 degree taper...

£15.49! - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-x-M14-x-1 ... 2263946292

Bought mine from Rosepassion at €66.80(No VAT due to company) for a set of 20, no locking nuts. Just over €12 for delivery together with side repeaters, some rubber sleeves etc.
