I have a 1988 Porsche 924S . The tickover has increased to about 1200 revs. It was 700/800. Found an adjustment screw on the left side under the throttle cable wheel. Adjusting it does not affect the tickover. Can actually remove screw and it makes no difference. Car starts and drives as normal. Have had other things to do over the summer so have just been driving it, but would like to fix this problem. Hope it's not electrical. Would be glad if anybody could help. Has anyone had a similar problem and can advise me.

David Lowe.
