Hi Guys, can any help or point me in the right direction??

The passenger side rear window has been leaking for a few years and has pretty much destroyed the rear part of the interior so im trying to fix this asap. After removing the rear seats and rear side panel (that covers the speaker) its clear the window seems to of been leaking and water has been running down inside of the car. However what confuses me is before removing the window or seal I tried pushing the glass on the drivers side and it is solid. it didn't move at all on all four side of the window/seal. I repeated this test on the passengers side and the top, left and right sides seemed solid but the whole bottom of the window/seal would move when pressed. so I took the window out and cleaned up the seal, glass and body of the car (it had some old sealant in there which I think a previous owners tried to fix previously). refitted the window, hoping the movement was from the previous owner not fitting it correctly, but the glass/seal still moves when pressed along the bottom.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Not sure why the window should move assuming that the metal trim and interior panels are still in place

Are you sure the leak is from the rear quarter?

If so it’s more likely to be between glass and seal than the body and seal
Dirt and grime gets between the glass and seal and sucks the water around
