Hi team!

So, inspecting the fuel injectors....on three of them the bottom O ring, where the jet is, is perished/deformed/hard brittle on three of the injectors. I can only assume this would have an effect on a proper seal and therefore issues with air and fuel mix and performance....would I be right on this?!

I have found a seal kit here https://www.design911.co.uk/fu/prod1368 ... 411090100/ but don't understand why there are 3 'O' rings...I only have 2!

Any better kits out there?

Thanks,

M

Send them away to Mr Injector have them cleaned, flow tested and new filter baskets and seals fitted for about £70 inc post

Much better than just fitting expensive o ring kits, I hope you found all the pintle caps “Orange bit in the design link”

They have a bad habit of vanishing down the bores

Send them away for refurbishment

It’s always worth it

I fitted my own injector seal kit and then set up a rig to clean the injectors myself, I wired them to a 9v battery to open the injector and carb cleaner to check the spray pattern and this seemed to work quite well.

I did the same...good fun!

Have fitted news O rings and not much difference really.

However the kit i bought 1287010704 the hats are different for the tip of the injector. Managed to slip off old O ring and slip on new so not so bad.....but an expensive purchase for alot of stuff I don't need!
