Hi. New member here. I have a problem with the heater on my 944S2. I have changed the water/freeze mixture and bled the system using the nut on top of housing near cylinder head. I am getting no heat whatsoever in the cabin. The temp gauge runs at about 1/4 (The first mark) all the time. Is it likely so be the temp control panel or thermostat or both. It only blows cold air so I would guess its the panel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

First hello! :) There a bit tricky to bleed. Did you do it with the engine running & the cap off as it warms up? And did you have this problem before you changed the coolent? Theres a good bit on clarks garage on this. http://www.connact.com/~kgross/FAQ/944faq07.html
Mine is tricky to bleed & the S2 is supposed to be worse.

Yep, bled with cap off etc. Having read up on how to do it I thought it would be an airlock. There was no heat from the heater prior to changing the fluid. I know having spoke to P & H Sportscar at Shardlow that he says he does sell a few heater control panels. Dont really want to bleed again as used expensive antifreeze. Any other tips?

Mine bled easily but I might have been lucky & I've had loads of experience of doing TR7 V8s which are pigs!
Opening up each hose clip around the heater & squeezing to allow air to escape helps.

But in your case sounds like the clip has broken on the heater panel so the heater doesn't turn on.
