I have been given a good dealer quote to carry out:

Tooth gear for the cam belt, Cam belt tensioner roller and also Auxiliary belts both Alternator & Power Steering.

It's not due but the sump has a small leak and i'm concerned about oil contamination, so was also thinking that it would be prudent to do the water pump (and sump gasket) as well as I can't find any reference to a water pump in the service history (not that it is complete).

Anybody got experience of Urö pumps?

I thought you would have received some responses on this question. I can't comment on the water pumps but I bought some window switches from a well known online store thinking they were OEM when in reality they were URO. They seem to work okay but I think URO stuff is generally Chinese patten parts. I suggest you do an internet search because there seems to be a wide range of opinions about the quality which may mean that they use multiple sources and then brand them up.

Good luck with it.

Thanks Mat.

Too much risk to take with a water pump if there is any slight concern. i'll research other options.

That's good.Where did you get it from?

Dealer who may do the Cam, balance shaft and ancillary belts will not fit any parts supplied by me unfortunately.
I'm wondering if there is a Porsche outlet in the central belt who would. Any suggestions?

"Porsche Glasgow - 'To carry out all of this work would be £2069.51 plus VAT" Eeeek. That's one helluva mark up from cam belt and ancillary belts @ £571 + vat.

Meanwhile I have a bigger headache - leaky fuel pressure regulator caused a fire. Luckily I had a fire extinguisher in the boot and managed to put it out but there's still a bit of damage.

If you have some time Waylander, I need a bit of help sourcing a couple of bits.
