So, my grey bulb holder for the battery light is broken. The one on the back of the instrument cluster. Where can I get a new one from please? Can someone please post a link from 'the bay' or similar..struggling to find the specific name of the part I need.

It's a very common wedge base for type 168/194 bulbs.

They are so cheap, the challenge is finding any which are not sent from China (though only takes a few days). Here's an ebay listing I just found (don't worry that the part you hold to twist into PCB looks slightly different as makes no odds):

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10pc-Twist-L ... Sw8R9ajOFk

You may find the actual base in Halfords, but if you search some of the specialist auto bulb sellers online you can source from UK too.

Here's the same base from UK seller - they are also called T10 holders:

Anyhows, plugged it in and and battery light comes on for the first time with key to on. Start engine, battery light goes out and Voltmeter goes straight to 14v...bingo!

Thanks for your help!
