So, after having a replacement windscreen fitted following it breaking on rough ground in goodwood car park, my temp gauge has started working properly ?? ( Go figure) :?:

So with this new found confidence I have a bought an Eaton m62 supercharger ! :o

Watch this space for updates ... ££££'s to be spent

I would welcome any advice or previous experience from anyone on here...

( And for the record I have done my driving training and I don't want a 951...)

Brave man! Good luck!

I have infinity boost at the moment due to an inop wastegate. Boost always leads to trauma!

Thanks -I have made it far to reliable .....

Its running great atm ....

From what I have seen the eaton m62 looks popular for these conversions .... keeping very low boost to keep engine internal as is for now...

I looked at supercharging an S2 lump to put in my 944 2.5 started the project then lost interest, more in getting dirty than the project itself.
A few pics here; http://www.pbase.com/tr7v8/944_sc_project
This was using a centrifugal compressor. I bought a M62 (still got it here) but couldn't get enough room to make it work.
I also wrote a spreadsheet to do the calcs which if you pop me an email I will have a look & send you a copy.
Also buy a copy of this book. The spreadsheet was written from it & it is a true mine of info.
