Thanks Stratfordshark. Just a bit of history, I had a bad blow out on the tyre from this side, so I’m wondering If the heat build up of the pad being stuck there caused it? |

I would think unlikely to have been cause, or just as likely that a jammed pad was not being pressed against disc at all! |

Good article on plate lift here:- http://www.jackals-forge.com/lotus/968c ... telift.htm I did mine soon after I got the car the pads had been ground on the edges to get them in (bodge) |

Calipers have now been sent off to Custom Calipers for a rebuild and repaint in Porsche guards red |
