fuse 9 keeps blowing,
hazards work but indicators dont the light on the instruments comes on
sunroof does not work
right hand side lights not working
main beam warning light is on all the time
heater fan not working
electric mirrors
rear wiper
boot release

some of these have been working so i know most work fine,
im not too worried about some items aslong as i can get essentials working for MOT

I've recently got my 1982 944 on the road after being sat outside for four years, I had lots of electrical issues, the majority were bad/corroded connections, even in places where no water leak will get I found corroded earths(due to condensation) I removed all fuses and relays and cleaned each electrical contact part(end of bullet fuses and fuse holder etc) I took photos for reference! There are 8 earth points around the car, some of these earth points have up to 6 earth wires connected, on my car the one behind the clocks which have 5 earth wires, each blade terminal was very corroded and the one under the dash behind the fuse box was very corroded, they are easy to get to and just unbolt so can be cleaned up with emery paper. All my bullet fuses were green on the brass tips, easily cleaned! Washer pump just needed a good tap while operated, indicator relay needed the blades cleaned. Elec window motors were seized but can be taken apart easily and re greased.
So.... quite a bit of work I suppose but it's easy stuff, especially the earths and connections (oh.. and get some electrical connection spray cleaner)
Good luck n get stuck in.

Thanks
I have cleaned a lot of connections but maybe thinking it’s inside some of the relays now.
Not sure wether Ito trust them.

Sounds like you have a short on one off those circuits on that fuse, possibly a wire broken probably near an exposed connector, or a connector block is corroded.

Which model & year is the car? As there are some differences in the circuits / wiring between early and late models.

It can be frustrating, but I've had to fix all of those issues on previous cars. Rarely did it invlove buying new parts, nearly always was down to corroded connections or previous bad repairs.

This is a very good idea to do regardless. May fix some of your issues, will definitely help all electrical systems to work better. Interior, exterior and dash lights will all be brighter as well.
