Having just got her back from clutch change and sills (£££££)...

Noticed the carpet behind drivers seat is absolutely soaking....

Will this likely be the sunroof drainage or rear hatch? Can anyone tell me where the drainage outlets should be underneath ??

It is normal garaged but has been sat outside for a couple weeks whilst work carried out.... I thought I was nearly there with the resto and now another problem!

It's normally the drain tube come off the rear corner of the sunroof.

I'll post a pic later for you.
If the pipe has come off the top then that would leak into the cabin and make carpet wet. The pipe routes to the bucket behind the rear wheel where it drains out of a hole in the bottom.
The drain hole could also be blocked, pop the roof out and check it. Worse case is that the one or both sunroof seals have failed or come adrift.

Garden Strimmer line is the best for clearing the drains, wont damage the tubes, the other thing to check is the petrol flap drain, I have seen that run down the outside of the tube and soak the floor

Thanks....

will check this out, its only on the drivers rear passenger side so convinced there is a blockage somewhere - will try and run a wire up it from the exit in the "bucket" behind the wheel arch.

I want to get on with stage 2 mods, ported and flowed cylinder head incase anyone on here can recommend where to get this done?

So its not the sunroof.... all four drains are running clear

Behind the rear arch of the drivers side there are two tubes? One routes from the rear drain of the sunroof and the other is black and is attached just above the rear wheel arch and is a bugger to get to! It was attached with a metal elbow joint but has come off? Does anyone know where this originates or from where it drains?

Thanks...

That will be the petrol flap drain tube.
