Just got an S2 with standard D90 wheels. Really think that Fuchs suit grey Porsche’s but confused re spacing and whether they fit or not after reading numerous post on the web. Will these fit please and will I need spacers or anything else to fit - https://www.design911.co.uk/mobile/#part;id=21641 Also, assume no issues fitting Toyo R888 tyres ? |

They wont fit, they are the wrong offset. Yours are 50 and 52 from memory |

Porsche may make a genuine wheel with your offset. You’ll paying 4 x the cost of those copies. |

Try giving Design911 a call, tell them your offset / car and see if the have any that will fit. If not they will probably have the required spacers as well. |

Called them earlier - confirmed they won't fit but are going to see what does and get back to me. |

There are original new/modern Fuchs as well as copies out there with later ET's in the 50's to fit late 944/968/964's etc. Originals from Fuchs/Porsche. Paul Stephens is one option in the UK. I am sure there are others Genuine forged Fuchs

Thanks - I managed to track down some Fuchs replicas with a 50offset but even with a 5mm spacer the fronts fouled the calipers (according to garage) which seams a bit odd as all the calculations suggested they would fit. I’m going to whip the wheels off myself this weekend and investigate further. |

The MO30 optioned cars had ET65 front wheels to allow for the larger brakes. Alternatively, someone may have retro-fitted some 944 turbo brakes, which would also need ET65. What offset wheels came off the front? The width and offset should be stamped on the wheel next to the valve. |

Wheels are definitely OEM and checked the offset stamp on them, this is what's really confusing. The fronts D90 wheels are stamped 55 and the rears 52. I've managed to add five 2mm washers behind the 5mm spacer I've inserted and the wheel now spins freely without catching on the caliper. Only issue is that the tyre wall does stick out a little bit from the arches though but not by much. I will try a 1mm washer (giving 6mm in total) to see if that's better. Once I know the exact gap I need (either 7mm or 6mm) I will then order the relevant shim as I don't really want washers behind it. |
