25 years ago one of my mk1 Golf GTi's had 3 VDO gauges under the radio, just need to fit an oil temp gauge to the 944 and it will look the same :) .

Ha! Yes it would, I used to own a Mk1 Scirocco storm but that only had two gauges in the centre console. Funnily enough it was pretty much the same colour as the 944 I have now, although the brown interior was more like two tone terracotta and nappy crap!
