Are there any equivalent carpet clips that are not silly money?

Part number: 477.863.747

(Although I need to match my cream interior)

Have you tried Porsche, these are the kind of things that are usually quite cheap from them.

Had a look at their site but didn't find a listing. However, i'll submit a query with part number.

Thank you.

Nearest thing I saw on their site were trim buttons under "fittings" then under "clips" , but not sure they are a suitable replacement. only looking because I need some myself (preferably in Marine Blue)

They are readily available across the pond but @ $5.00 a shot plus possible import VAT and postage, it's a bit silly for what they are.

I'll let you know what Wollies say.

Have you got the PET data card suffix for Marine blue?

No I've not found the suffix for marine blue, cobalt blue is 6ZF and black is 0IC (I think) but I must have missed /couldn't see a marine blue suffix against that part number on the parts catalogue I was looking at.

Thanks for the steer, the Marine Blue suffix is mostly 4KF in that area (boot covering, panels, etc) but the button clip part No 477863747 didn't have Marine Blue as a colour option against it.

That's why I said 'believe' as the Marine blue interior comes under that suffix but the list of clip colours are:

0LC Black
90V Brown
4BF Grey
9MM Burgundy
6ZF Cobalt blue
4XC Classic grey.

Are your clips a slightly different colour?

Hi that colour Marine Blue is a 968 colour up to 1993, so the clips are 477 863 747 9JJ @ £3.04 each, dam expensive £30 for 10 clips

They are a dark blue (the ones that are left) and match the boot /rest of car interior which is Marine Blue (944 S2 interior colour in 1989 year).

Just need a few if them , but in that area of the boot (not much daylight and not really on display too much) any dark blue / black would probably do.

Interesting to see that 968 parts catalogue has different part number but lists Marine Blue and apparently still available (if a little pricey) from Porsche.

Thanks for that link. You don't happen to know the hole diameter off hand do you?

The one's in the picture are from a stock photo - not mine. Mine are those light grey one's. There's just 2 missing.

Wollies got back to me:

"Thank you for your enquiry, I am afraid we do not recognise what these numbers are but we do not have any grey carpet clips at all. You can see the carpet fasteners we sell on the following link https://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/category ... -fasteners".

But nothing in that link that is similar.

Now I know the jargon - "fir tree carpet clip"...

The nearest thing woollies have on their site are called "Trim Button" (their part no 331 I think) follow "fittings" then "clips"
