Get your car on the Classic register

All you need to do is book it in for an Oil service at you Porsche Classic supporting dealer

https://www.porsche.com/uk/accessoriesa ... /register/

https://www.porsche.com/uk/accessoriesa ... ilservice/

seems to be lots of benefits, one of which is letting Porsche know just how many of our front runners there are

I went to an evening with Derek Bell in 2015 at which I met and chatted with the head of Porsche Classic.

It is his job to decide what parts to put back into production they do this by the number of cars they have registered and by the number of requests for certain parts

If we want to keep support for FE cars then it’s worth registering once

Hi :)

It would be better if you could register WITHOUT an oil change or service.... to me it comes across as a little too commercial...

All the best Brett :)

The fee for oil service on a 993 is very reasonable and I think it's a great idea. I've always been pleased with the work done by OPC and it's getting more difficult to find indies who care about 944s, Unit 11 excepted. I do as much as I can myself but sometimes when special tools or equipment are needed you just have to bite the bullet.

You pay your money you take your choice, I find the OPC’s good value.

Me too, Eddie is a legend, I do use my OPC too and agree they have definitely come to the party over the last few years, also very handy to build up your brownies there to get good parts and emergency workshop prices :D
