I have no dipped head light on the near side.
I have checked and replaced lamps and fuses all good.

Chances are its the flexible cable that has got a fracture in it.Try wiggling/pinching the cable where it flexes up to the headlight.Failing that try running a separate test lead to the bulb.

+1 on the cable.

I had exactly the same issue and it turned out that the cable was damaged. Some work with a soldering iron and some heat shrink solved it.

I've had exact same issue before. The wiring can break with years of the lights going up and down.

Thank you all

Found wire break exactly where you all prescribed.

I will chop back and put new wire in, I was looking at using low temp solder joints and heat shrinking over

Is there a better way?

Regards

Mark
