Hi, I'm looking to get some work done on my S2 sills, bottom of front wings, etc. before they get too bad some time later this year. Has anybody got any recommendations /experience for restoration or body-shop work on replacing metal on 944 sills, front wings in the Lincolnshire, Humberside, Notts, South Yorkshire area? I'm based near Louth in Lincolnshire and there are some body-shop specialists on a local trading estate here who do repair work for 911 Sport in Horncastle, but I have no knowledge of their work on cutting out / welding in new metal on 944s and I would prefer it done right to last, rather than a short term filler fix. Alternative is perhaps get it transported further afield if there are none more locally used to working on 944 sills, etc. Any help/suggestions most welcome |
