 Post subject: 1983 944 Sunroof Advice (on opening!)

Can anyone advise how to get my sunroof out manually?
Nothing happens when I operate the switch on centre console nor when I undo clamps and push - am I being dim here?

TIPEC membership: 7406
in the rear, in front of the battery but behind the side carpet lives the motor for the sunroof. It should have with it a manual widening handle to ope the sunroof. If you have an owners / drivers manual it is explained in there.

Aha, my battery is in the engine compartment - but Ill have a peep later.

Annoyingly intermittent wipe has just stopped working as well!
