.... do the air deflectors on the front struts go?

I took mine off the other week and can't remember how they fitted.

The deflector is a curved plate with a rolled edge on 3 sides. Hole positions allow you to mount it either way around.

I'd guess that the rolled edge faces forward and the flat edge points towards the brakes?

Can someone confirm please.

I will have my front wheel off tomorrow, can take a pic a post for you but won't be until evening. Or, check the diagrams in the PET.

Other way 'round - the unusual edge goes to the front. (Although I looked at them on mine and suspected that it makes very little difference.)

Oli.

Thanks Guys,

I did look in PET but the part is shown in isolation rather than in position with the strut.

This shows the whole job from start to finish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgrRt0Hyhr0

Take a look from 29:58 for refitting the bit you're interested in.

Cheers,
Bryan

Thanks Briggy.

For future reference, when I got to fit them, whilst it looks like they could go on either way round, the holes are slightly offset so they don't quite fit the other way.
