Bert at Berlyn is normally worth a shot. Mine is a Dnsk, sounds nice, gives a few more gee gees & fits well.

Dansk is very good. Get the full system as the front pipe is much cheaper than the back box. Full thing from Bert was not expensive. Fitting kit worth the extra as it makes the job easy. Just have to cut the front down pipes to length which is more fiddly than difficult. Tail pipe is spot welded & can come off. Easily fixed before fitting by drilling from underneath & securing with a stainlees bolt a couple of inches from the end. Sounds fantastic. :)

Had mine made for the 924S by Tyrespot in Darlington (Powerflow system) they will make it straight rather than bent around like the original increase the pipe diameter if you want and put any type of tailpipe within reason. The quality of the welding was brilliant and it took about 2 hours to make from scratch and fit. You can choose how many boxes you want fitting and even choose the amount of noise you would like. Mone cost £395 from down pipe to tailpipe with a DTM style upswept tail piece welded direct to the back box so it looks excellent, they also lifted it slightly to make it look less out of place and used a flange to connect to the downpipe rather than U clamps. Oh and it comes with a 10yr guarantee excluding rubbers.

Powerflow - no!

The exhaust is an integral part of the way the car runs. People become expert in designing exhaust systems and they make and test designs on specific models to get the maximum performance gain. Someone with a welder and pipe bender stood under the car making it up as he goes along is hardly going to compete.

Firstly I did not fit the Powerflow in order to gain power, I did it because after 21 years the old one was about to fall off.
Secondly I hardly think increasing the tube OD by 1/4" (not much point going much bigger than the headers as they in essence limit the scavenging effect) and replacing the bend from the middle section with a straight section while fitting two freer flowing boxes one mid section and one rear section is going to make such an impact on either the way the exhaust passes gas out or the back pressure. Indeed apart from it sounding how I (personal view) think it should sound I can not say I noticed any real improvement or detrement to the performance. But as I said at the beginning I didn't do it for a performance increase, I did it because I needed to.

I notice you are in Devon.

Bert at Berlyn 'used' to be in Devon too, but he relocated to North Wales a while back.

Just trying to save you a journey to his empty shed :)
