Over the last couple of weeks or so the new spots and wiring have been coming along nicely

Started with removing the waterlogged driving lights...

Some screws didn't want to come out!

What's wrong with a raw plug and a bit of araldite!!

Image

Image

All looking at bit tired and crusty at the back....

Image

Took them all apart and started the tidy up...

Discovered why the driving lights didn't flash when the main headlights were off... PO chopped the loom around a bit and fed this purple wire through to the underside of the fusebox to a relay with an indeterminate purpose... so that had to go!

I also appear to have some of the ceramic fuses missing...

Image

Stripped the front end top get the light bar off... bolts were a PITA as one side of the vertical bolt that holds the bumper insert on was cross threaded - manged to rescue it though with a bit of tap & die

Image

Brackets went for a tidy up and paint while I was in there...

Image

Fancied a bit of colour on the driving lamps as well

Refitting everything now its painted and gleaming bright

Lower lamps wired in  The angel eyes are with the side lights and the driving lamps are on a separate switch on the dash to a dedicated relay.

Easier to see when its darker!

Just the upper lamps to connect now. Idea is to have them illuminated off a separate switch and dedicated relay as well as on the headlight flash.... Will see if I can get this all done before Tatton this weekend
