Sorry I'm late to the party! managed to trip over the power lead for the laptop last night, sent it flying off the table onto the floor. it's not very well at the moment :clown:

I'm absolutely made up with that dave! :D

mate i dunno how i found time? got a swine of a job on (sounds easy) tigra head gasket...its vauxhalls idea of sardines i think? i get the head back for that first thing. put that together and go collect you head (if its done?) and fit that. i'll bring the car up with me when i head home either friday or saturday (dependant on when the head comes back) but you will be going to london in it :)

I did this to mine while i had the head off. How long does it take alu to fade without a coating? I left mine as polished metal.

i use a stuff called diamond clear by eastwoods sold by frost.

its a clear lacquer thats made for bare metal/alu or anything.
