Hi all,
Just purchased a tuerkis blue 944 owned by a lady for the last 20 years , 88500 miles. Is it true there are only 8 RhD cars made in this colour?

Looks in great condition and the interior is cracking...

You do realise that you have to tell us how much it was now... Don't you?

Great colour too...

I used to own one of these up until about a year or so ago. Does it have the M030 sports suspension? Also is the options sticker missing from the boot? These seem to be two other things that they shared in common apart from paint colour and interior. I did a little research on the net and didn't come up with anything 100% conclusive but there was a suggestion that the cars may have been part of a limited run of cars from a particular dealership.

Hi Mike, the options sticker is still in the boot , how would i know if it had the M030 sports suspension.
Many thanks

It'll have MO30 on the aforementioned sticker.

It would look like that. http://www.bakody.com/Rennlist/M030Suspension.jpg

Also under the bonnet at on top of the front suspension struts there would be a bit to adjust the suspension.

I believe the suggestion was that the dealer may have put the suspension on rather than the factory. This may be rubbish though and it may have been added by an owner at some point.

The missing sticker caused some alarm as it is indicative of a rear end shunt, however this was also the case for the other S2 that I knew of and my mechanic couldn't see any evidence either.

All the UK S2s I have seen in this colour all have the same interior as well. I had also assumed suspension.

There was also a guy here a while ago that had an early 944 in Turkis Blue as well. As far as I know it was more commonly a 911 colour.

photos can be deceiving

Yes that's Turquoise Metallic

If you email Marc Noack at Porsche Germany classics dept,
He may be able to help with numbers made
Marc.Noack@porsche.de

Also if you send him your chassis number, he will send you a build spec of your car

As far as I am aware Jason, it doesn't have an anglicised name due to it not being a series production colour.

Hi Mark,

Did you ever get anywhere with finding out the numbers produced? Or indeed any other info on these cars. I've just purchased one also and would love to get some more information. I contacted Porsche directly but got nowhere.

Take care, Andrew
