When i go to start the '44 the front headlamps cut off and the cabin light flickers :?

Had it drop-tested last winter as it got drained after a failed start and they said it was 'weak' but still good to use so carried on with it. I think it will let me down this winter though, especially as the reading on the dash meter is only just above 12V when it gets nippy out :bigsmurf:

Anyone know the correct ratings/codes for a 2.7 lux so I can prhaps go armed with the info to a local motor factors? I think it needs a 600Ah battery but I'm reluctant to just trust the numbers on the one already in there as I didn't fit it ;)

Cheers 944'ers,
Adam

Not again, just put your bl00dy hand in those deep pockets of yours & buy a new 'un!
The battery that Halfords list is the wrong one, it's around 5mm too tall. When I get home (Friday late) I'll be able to tell you what it should be. I also have a Halfords discount card that'll save you a bunch of cash.

You'll save £30 with Jim's card, that must be worth a pint at the next club night

I've got one of theirs on the S2, no issues with it so far.

Right let's clear this up right now, I am NOT the forum tightwad :boxing: I'm just about to install a new kitchen at home!

My attitude to all things, and chiefly because I'm an engineer, is that I don't try to fix what ain't broken :)
The battery has done just fine for the last few months but now it's probably time to sort it before it lets me down.

Sean, my favourite currency is beer :occasion5:
