Well the time to insure again has arrived on the 944 lux and I wondered if there were any firms that you might recommend.

Classicline for me. Excellent cost, cover and agreed value. I'm under £200 for my turbo with agreed value well into 5 figures. Has track day cover, European breakdown etc.

Asset Trust are worth a call. They did mine with 7500 miles and full euro breakdown cover with agreed value and covered all my spare wheels. Car is kept on the drive as well.

Even as a daily driver insurance can be very reasonable. Adrian Flux cover mine, obviously no mileage restrictions, business use, fully comp and parked on the street all for £250!

Amazed at that! Flux wanted almost £700 off me at renewal for 7500 miles... AT saved £150 against that...

Must be my advancing years and squeaky clean no claims! I've always found the 944 cheap to insure, I think the most I've ever paid was £450.

I've found insuring mine has come in under £100 fully comp for the last 3 years. Admittedly sdp only and 3k miles plus I'm the wrong side of 40 but its stupidily cheap and was the final point that convinced me that I should have one.

Hi. I've just renewed with Carole Nash and got it £20 cheaper than last year. £148 fully comp, 3k miles pa, £9k agreed valuation and with home start/ nationwide / European breakdown cover, which I feel is good value for money.
When they called me, I ummd a bit and the girl said "would you like me to see if I can get any cheaper, I'll talk to my manager" so I said why not! Result - £20 off.
I shop around every year but I couldn't get close.

Thanks lads I have stayed with Graham Sykes at £162 with all the trimmings breakdown etc.
Not got track cover but it does not get used for that.
Oh and I will never see 64 again  so the wrong side of everything you can do except the pension and death :)
