I would personally go and purchase some G3 and go over the cat with that, although mine is white mine was as flat as a pancake, and i went over the car in sections with G3 and an buffer then went over it with meguiars carnuba wax now all i do is just give it a good going over about once a month two months with the wax but in between use the quick detailer to keep it looking gorgeous ;)

Same here.
Get it machine polished with G3 and then a good quality wax.
Shouldn't have any pinkness for a good few months then

Red is THE worst colour for fading. Something to do with the pigment. In my valeting days a few years ago now the worst one i had to do was a polo that was almost pink all over!! After half a day with some G3 lots of water and a mop polisher it was shining like the sun with a mile deep shine after sealing the paint with some wax 8)

I ended up buying the car from the trader and had it for 3 years and it still shone well up till the day i sold it.

And the VW's win it for dodgy reds, i did a mk2 Golf once for a mate of mine, and i ended up spending 2 days on the paintwork it was that pink.
But a little persistence and you will have your car looking like new
