She does !

But both approaching their 60’s and Bukha rather than bikini more appropriate .

Always thought the two guitarists had my Covid lockdown look .

Hope it's not the look of the one that's brown bread now  .

Hi Paul , it certainly has been .

Should have just broken that first s2 and walked away when I found the rust .
I had no idea on the rust issues with these cars having bought into the galvanized aura .

Still pleased with the cars I have ended up with , the engines I put together and learnt a lot along the way .
Mostly how to waste money

I'm just about to start fitting the VEMS, I've only had it for 6 years. When that's dialled in, it's time for the big turbo, I've had for longer than that. Having bolt on parts sitting in boxes, and not fitting them is really wasting money. Same as paying comp insurance for the last 2 years, and not driving it. Anyway, it's back on the road now, and I'm starting to feel the love again :D .

Can't seem to get that Shirley Temple song out my head now ,"lollipop , lollipop ...."

Won these on evil bay and really pleased with them . Being replicas from america they are built for the more fuller figure of the elder gentlemen and very comfortable to .

The yellow sports seats going back on evil bay so offers welcome .

She is "never getting in that death trap" apparently Paul .

I have no vids of myself but did find this picture on line demonstrating the correct manor of the more mature gentleman to exit a sporting vehicle .

Remarkable that he attempted this maneuver in the hours of daylight with onlookers but hope he had appreciation and thunderous applause for stopping a faceplant into the pavement .

Putting the seats in turned into a bit of a nightmare . Spoke to GTS Classics in the states who mentioned they usually shave the fiberglass side down on tunnel side if they know the seats are going in a 944 so they can use their own seat rails.
Did not want to do that , so got a pair of Planted bottom mounting subframes . These allowed the seat sliders to fit and use porsche mounting points. Trouble was these were so low I could not get seat to slide as bottom of seat rubbing on carpet and frame . Removed rear section of subframe but still to low . I found a 5mm x M8 gave just enough clearance to work .
The great thing about this is even being 6'2" I now have 4" of headroom as the seat is literally on the floor . Very comfortable seats , even more so than the Pole position seats I had in my last car .

Work on the 924 has been slow as there is a mk3 landrover on the front lawn which needed a complete strip down and half a chassis . That is now close to being back together so hopefully get to the 924 again . I did manage to fit the dry sump pump and make the lines up . Found a place in front wheel arch which just allows it to fit so very short lines .

I also tightened all the braided fuel line fittings and put a fuel rail and some injectors in to pressurize system to check for leaks . Ran some power to both pumps and a very big leak as I had forgotten to screw fuel pressure gauge to regulator!!!!!

Is it going to have a big front splitter and rear spoiler, and vents in the back edges of the wings like the latest GT 911's?

No wings or splitters .

Front wings are from Gustafs old 944 time attack car which are open at back and gtr rear arches which are open again.

There is a great thread on " Reja.nu porsche 968 turbo Gt1" using the translation tool well worth a read . Its not just Aussies who put billet engines in these transaxles .

I'll read the whole thread when I've got more time. I liked Gustafs old Green Hunter 944, I wonder why he ended up breaking it.
