85/6+£100

There not in Norwich, but it gives you some comparison.

I paid £750 ish for a new clutch including labour less than a year ago at Motortune in Shotts, up here in Central Scotland. That was a Lux though, not a Turbo. Don’t know if that could be the reason for the massive price difference.

Is your car standard? What clutch are you being quoted for??
The OEM one would be Sachs but there are others suitible for a road car that will last longer for less money. If you can wait two weeks & buy it in the USA you will save. Look at the clutch kits http://www.lindseyracing.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=LR&Category_Code=944CLUTCH
They also do the standard Sachs ones too but cheaper than you get here.
Don't forget to add VAT & duty but is still cheaper. I bought lots from here with no problems![/url]
Can't get the link to work. Click 951/engine trans/clutch down the left hand side it will get you there!

Edited to fix link, Jim

Turbo is a lot more complex as I understand it!
The book is around 10 hours labour as most of the exhaust needs dropping & some of it will be corroded.

It may well be that you are a Spurs supporter. Dont forget the 20% surchage on all services that this incurs????

RPM Porsche(click here) quote:

= £1062.91 inc VAT

They're not in Norwich, but in Leighton Buzzard so a bit closer

The major cost of a 944 clutch replacement is hours and hours of labour, the clutch itself for a 944T will be between £300-£400 for the parts
