Hi, your car and work is amazing!

Starting out on a build and with a lot of help I hope that we end up with a machine as well built as yours!

Well I've finally got a smile on my face. We have been out in the car this evening doing a little in car mapping. Checking fuelling etc. and building a boost map. Running it at 1.5 bar dropping of to 1.35 were it catches the soft boost limiter at 7250rpm. Dam it feels quick. Intercooler works prefect and water temp is also very good. It does get a little heat soak when standing in traffic, temps up to 50 degrees but that soon drops when moving. I am well pleased, well worth the wait.

Cheers Tim

Hi all, I've got my brake kit sorted now and hoping to get it fitted ready for the better weather. One or two little jobs to complete, heat shield for servo, heat protection for the bonnet, gearbox support and one or two electrical jobs to do.

Hoping to be at the Rutland meet in March. Shouldn't be a problem.

Cheers Tim

I was going to say that the brake booster and servo pump are too close to the turbo but if you sorted that out I can only say that I want to see some videos of the car :D

This car is now for sale due to marriage break up. Anyone interested? Please read the thread and you will understand the amount of time, effort and money that as gone into it. For that reason I am looking for serious offers only, no silly bids.

I dread to think what it would cost to build this car. Take me for a spin before you sell it Tim.

Very sorry to hear of your situation Tim. For all reasons. Obviously the marriage is the main concern but it's a real shame you have to forego the car too after such time and effort to produce such an interesting build. Good luck with the future.

Hi Tim,

Just joined this forum having read about your build on a beach in Mexico... I love it!

Hopefully you're still an active member as I realise this is a really old thread, but I want a price for you to build me an engine on an S2 if you can be bothered, or a consultant fee for a local firm to do the mucky stuff?

I love 944's, have had several including four cabrios, and think I might buy my second to last S2 cab back next week when I'm the UK again.

Loved the car, all of them actually, but I think I need your magic worked over one to keep...

Cheers
